Seaforth achieves ISO 14001 certification

"ISO 14001 was the next logical step in Seaforth's sustainability journey, helping us to develop more structure and continuous improvement in the way we interact with the environment. I am extremely proud of the team for their continuous efforts in ensuring Seaforth is a sustainable business of the future."
Tyler Goodwin - Seaforth CEO

Seaforth has achieved its ISO 14001 certification, demonstrating further our commitment to the environment and sustainability within the property industry. After joining the UN's Climate Neutral Now initiative, committing to a carbon reduction plan and achieving The First Mile Gold medal for recycling, this was the next step in our journey to becoming a sustainable business.

ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems, helping to improve a companies environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and waste reduction.

The built environment is responsible for a third of the worlds waste and 40% of the worlds carbon emissions. Seaforth was created to put sustainability at the forefront of our strategy to show sustainability can be a commercially viable option as well as the right thing to do.

Like 300,000 other companies across the world, Seaforth went through rigorous examination of our policy, planning, implementation and analysis relating to the environment. As part of the outcomes, Seaforth has committed to regulate the use of our water and energy, prevent pollution and committed to waste reduction targets amongst other things.

We are extremely proud of this achievement and taking this next step in our sustainability commitment.
